2006 Argiolas Costera $15.99

If you are a fan of wines from Cotes du Rhone, you will really enjoy this selection. Made from Grenache or Cannonau as it's called in Sardinia, Italy, this wine shows lush red and dark fruits and a soft finish.

2006 Coltibuono Cetamura Chianti $11.99

From one of the most highly regarded producers in Chianti comes this approachable, bright Sangiovese based wine with ripe red fruits and a clean refreshing finish.

BridgePort invites you to brew up a Fresh Hop ale or lager beer to compete in its second annual fresh hop home brew competition. Entries may be in any style or flavor but must use fresh cone hops from the 2008 Oregon crop.
You’ll need three labeled bottles and completed entry form and must be dropped off at BridgePort, 1313 NW Marshall by Sunday, October 26th to be eligible for judging in the competition.
Entries must be home brewed, state the style of beer made and the variety(s) of fresh hops used. The panel of distinguished judges for the competition will be composed of the BridgePort brewing department staff. At the Hop Harvest Home Brew Challenge Awards Reception Honors will be given to the 2008 Hop Harvest Champion Brewer with prizes awarded to the top three entries.
The reception will include a sampling of BridgePort’s 2006-2008 Hop Harvest Ales, tours of the BridgePort Brewery by the brewers and a presentation on how BridgePort’s 2008 Hop Harvest Ale was made this year by BridgePort Brewmaster, Karl Ockert.
