Thanks for the info about the South Waterfront Day: Concert in the Park, Open Marketplace, Art & Entertainment, and Sailing Regatta.

The building with the flag atop it on Portland Oregon Daily Photo today is across from the bus stop at the corner of SW Washington and SW 9th. In order to get the photo, I leaned against the brilliantly painted wall of a building at the bus stop. I'm glad you like the photo.

I went to the South Waterfront around 2 p.m. today, caught the last few minutes of the Bobby Torres group and most all of the Devin Phillips Funk Band--great live music in a good location. I enjoyed watching people and their dogs and/or children. I rode the streetcar there from my neighborhood and back to downtown. Then I walked some and ended up at Pioneer Courthouse Square for a little while, sitting in the shade, reading. I rode the MAX, then the bus, home. Another fine day underneath Portland's blue skies.
