2009 Spring Barrel Tasting in the Yakima Valley @ Willow Crest Winery

Our next stop was at the Willow Crest Winery where our nose mouth and all the taste buds got special treat from their wine selection.

Team Splashi speciayl liked `07 Pinot Gris which has nice crisp finish and not sweet at all but there is a hint of apples which makes this wine real treat during the spring/summer days, Team Splashi came home with two bottles of this vine.

Another wine that we liked a lot is `05 Rhone blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah and Viognier and Willow Crest sells it under the catchy name XIII , if you like fool body strong dark red wine then look no further for this is perfect vine to drink in any ocation. By mistake we got only two bottles of this nectar.

Willow Crest also has `06 Mourvèdre which is in our opinion outstanding, we where among lucky ones to taste this wine straight from the barrel and that way we could compare differences , you will not go wrong with this vine, buy it drink it and then buy some more.
